Is a Royal Temple of Mengwi Empire and its located in Mengwi village, Badung regency and about 18km north side of Denpasar town. It is set on the land which is surrounded by the big fish pond and look like a drift on the water. it owns the beautiful temple building with multistoried roof and Balinese architecture. The wide beautiful escape garden in front courtyard to welcome all visitors who came and visit this temple.
Taman Ayun Royal Temple of Mengwi is one of the most important temples in Bali. Built in 1634 by a King of the Mengwi dynasty. Was built as a series of garden terraces with courtyards on different levels. The entire complex was designed to symbolize the mythological hope of the Gods, Mount Meru, Floating in the sea of eternity. Taman Ayun temple was enlarge in 1937, making some of its structures the most modern temple architecture in Bali.
